Sponge iron maker Monnet Ispat, its net profit rose 0.40% to Rs 82.06 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2009, over the same period last year. total income of the company, however declined 21.44% to Rs 313.98 crore in the July - September quarter of this fiscal from the same period last financial year.
