State owned MMTC has invited bids for sale of 4000 tonnes of imported Tur in the domestic market. bids will close on November 16 and the decision on the tender will be taken by November 20. the offered pulses, which are grown in the 2009 crop season are sourced from Tanzania and Malawi. bidders showed quote for a minimum quantity of 250 tonnes. the imported Tur are currently lying at Vashi Mumbai. the company said on its website.
